Focusing on steel, non-ferrous metals, building materials, petrochemical and chemical industries, we will promote energy-saving transformation and in-depth treatment of pollutants. We will promote energy-saving technologies such as high-efficiency rectification system, high-temperature and high-pressure dry quenching, oxygen enriched intensive smelting, and encourage the transformation of blast furnace converter long process steelmaking into electric furnace short process steelmaking. We will promote ultra-low emission transformation of steel, cement, coking industries and coal-fired boilers. By 2025, we will complete ultra-low emission transformation of 530 million tons of steel production capacity, and fully realize ultra-low emission of coal-fired boilers in key areas of air pollution prevention and control.
