By 2025, China's energy consumption per unit of GDP will be reduced by 13.5% compared with that in 2020, and the total energy consumption will be reasonably controlled. The total emissions of chemical oxygen demand, ammonia nitrogen, nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds will be reduced by 8%, 8%, 10% and 10% respectively compared with that in 2020. Policies and mechanisms for energy conservation and emission reduction have been improved.
