In order to further standardize the management of waste lead-acid batteries, prevent environmental pollution caused by the collection, storage, transfer and disposal of waste lead-acid batteries, and comprehensively fight against pollution, recently, some Counties actively carried out special law enforcement actions for waste lead-acid batteries.
The action focused on the storage and management of hazardous wastes, the entry and exit account, the qualification of the transfer and disposal unit, the declaration of the province solid waste system and other aspects, and comprehensively inspected the waste related units by checking the site and asking the person in charge of the unit.
Up to now, a total of 15 law enforcement personnel have been dispatched to inspect more than 30 automobile repair plants, 2 waste automobile purchase units, 6 lead-acid battery business units, 2 electric vehicle sales units, and 1 old battery repair unit. Three on-site inspection notices have been issued, and rectification requirements have been put forward for the units that find problems.
